  1. 1Download Syncsaurs and move it to your Applications folder
  2. 2Open the app and head to the Device tab
  3. 3Follow the prompts to allow the companion app to install on your phone
2

Turning on the wireless connection

To use mirroring and control, you'll need to turn on wireless debugging on your phone once. Just the one time.

  1. 1On your phone, go to Settings → About phone → Software information and tap Build number 7 times to enable Developer options
  2. 2In Developer options, turn on Wireless debugging (allow it on your current Wi-Fi)
  3. 3Syncsaurs on your Mac pairs and connects automatically
3

Using each feature

The sidebar tabs give you instant access to Messages, Calls, Notifications, Contacts, Media, Files, Apps, and Mirroring.

  1. 1Open your phone's screen in the Mirroring tab and control it with your mouse and keyboard
  2. 2Click a text field, switch your phone keyboard to your language, and start typing
  3. 3Click an app in the Apps tab and it launches on your phone with the mirror popping up beside it
4

Troubleshooting

If the connection acts up, check the items below. Most issues come down to being on the same Wi-Fi and having wireless debugging turned on.

  1. 1Make sure your Mac and phone are on the same Wi-Fi network
  2. 2Make sure wireless debugging is turned on on your phone
  3. 3Still stuck? Open the companion app, leave it running, and try again

Privacy

Syncsaurs never sends personal data like messages, contacts, or calls to an outside server. Every connection happens directly between your Mac and your phone.
